Vaccinations pass 10,000,000 with 80,000 deaths
JOHANNESBURG — South Africa became the first African nation to pass 10,000,000 vaccinations as it resumed alert level 3 restrictions, limiting sales of alcohol to Monday to Thursday with limits on gatherings of 50. The government reported that 78,000 have died of the COVID-19 virus as of Aug. 20.
