ReUNION: Education-Art-Heritage has extended its 16th annual Preserving California Black Heritage conference globally in line with the African Union declaration of 2024 as the Year of Education. With the new reference site Blackopedia.info, ReUNION gives students and educations insights into more than 80 countries where Blackness is ascendant. On Sept. 22, we replay the ReUNION documentary The King Behind King, Bridges, Chavez and Mandela on ILWU vice president LeRoy King with Speaker Emeriitus Nancy Pelosi, the late Sen. Diane Feinstein and Assembly Speaker/Mayor Willie L. Brown describing how King launched their careers; and we join the Association for the Development of Education in Africa at the U.N. General Assembly to highlight the highly-advanced pedagogy and learning tools from the mother continent.
