Georgia ranked third in Black Business Index

ATLANTA — VOTEBLACKBUSINESS: State of Black Business, 21st edition ranks Georgia third in its 21st annual Black Business Affinity Index.

The efforts of the Georgia Coalition of Black Chambers and Atlanta Black Chambers to educate legislators at the state and federal levels are helping to bring the Justice 40 initiatives to the grass roots.

For the second year, we joined the Southern Regional Economic Roundtable for the D.C. Fly-In in May for meetings with a dozen federal agencies and both Georgia senators.

It is an important model for giving legislators the information needed to direct funding where it is needed most.
