Description

Our patron saint, Roy L. Clay Sr., has transitioned and this will be our first Innovation&Equity without him.  Join us at the Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf to set the agenda for African-American technology, infrastructure and health care during the new administration on the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  It is also a showcase for the 80 Cities Initiative, connecting the 80 cities in Africa and the Caribbean with more than one million population with the top experts and practitioners in the fields that 1.5 billion Black people demand to reach the goals of Africa 2063.  It will also be the inauguration of Pan African Place, a concept of the New Black Urbanism that puts our creativity at the forefront of global progress and commerce.  The theme is Artistic Intelligence, a nod to the Sargent Johnson National Museum of African-American Art next door.  The Honorable Aprille J. Ericsson, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Technology, is the 2025 Roy L. Clay Sr. Technology Pinnacle Awardee.
