Algorithmic Justice League at the table
Dr. Joy Buolawinmi, founder of the Algorithmic Justice League, at the table with President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and California Gov. Gavin Newsom in a meeting on artificial intelligence June 20 after the May 4 executive order establishing an AI Bill of Rights. The Journal of Black Innovation National Black Business Month and Silicon Valley Black Chamber are submitting a position paper to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to suggest enforcement strategies instead of voluntary compliance, which has not worked in the past with technology companies.
