Black women leading the Artemis Generation

Barbara Brown, deputy director for exploration research and technology program, and Tamiko Fletcher, chief information security officer at Kennedy Space Center previewed the test for the Artemis rocket intended to return human to the moon during the Roy L. Clay Sr. Technology Pinnacle Awards on March 5.

Vanessa Wyche, director of Johnson Space Center, and Dr. Christyl Johnson, deputy director for for technology and research investments at Goddard Space Flight Center, also described how their centers are teaming to send the first Black woman to the moon.
