It is a model for effective infusion based on the commissioned research study for the California Council for the Social Studies, Black Heritage as Gap Closer, in 2008.

It has been used in all the branch libraries of San Francisco Public Library, to train rangers of the Golden Gate National Recreational Area and for educators in San Francisco Unified School District.
